Alpen Resort & Spa Zermatt

My recent stay at a hotel in Zermatt was fantastic. The staff were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The pool at the hotel was amazing, with whirlpool areas and indoor and outdoor jacuzzis. I even had the best Thai massage ever with a Greek masseuse. The room was comfortable with a fine view of the Matterhorn, and the bathroom was modern and super clean. The hotel also provided free shuttle service to the train station and had convenient luggage storage facilities. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The Alpen Resort Hotel in Zermatt was a amazing experience. The room had a large balcony with a amazing view of the Matterhorn. The meals included in our package were excellent, with a generous breakfast buffet and fantastic dinners every night. The spa at the hotel was second to none, with a sauna, humidity room, swimming pool, and outdoor hot tubs. The hotel also offered a convenient pick-up service from the train station. we seemed like family from day one.

The rooms are spacious and some have been renovated, providing a comfortable stay. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and the staff are helpful and attentive. The hotel also has facilities such as a heated indoor pool and sauna, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

One complaint mentioned in a review is about the noise from the bathroom fan, which can be a bit disruptive.

We had an amazing Easter getaway in Zermatt! The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk from the train station and easily accessible to everything in town. Our room had a balcony with fine mountain views, it was such a treat to wake up to the beauty of the Alps. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was tasty and satisfying. The pool, hot tub, and saunas were the perfect way to unwind after a long day of skiing.

The hotel can get quite busy, and at times it was difficult to reach the front desk as they didn't answer phone calls upon our arrival. this was just a minor inconvenience as the hotel was just a short walk from the train station.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway and found it to be an excellent experience. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the train station and right near the center of town. The staff, especially the receptionist, were very helpful and friendly. The leisure facilities were outstanding, including a spa & wellness center with an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and rooftop pool. The dining options were also great, with a delicious breakfast buffet and a restaurant serving special diet menus.

We opted not to do the half-board and ate out instead, as we found the menu to be a bit restrictive.
